Чего только не устанавливала и не удаляла - бестолку.
Наверное файлы конфигурации менять надо,
но я не знаю как
Ну и udev так и норовит "подмять под себя" все не зависящие от него программы (в плане зависимостей), устанавливая новые "правила":)

если хочешь нормально работоспособной системы, сделай как тут написано

Date: 2016-12-21 07:46 pm (UTC)это не винда, принцип линковки программ тут в основном динамический (большей частью), библиотеки централизованно лежат в одном месте, программы используют одни и те же либы, они тянут по зависимостям др.др., поэтому нужно периодически обновлять систему
если есть желание 10 лет ничего не трогать, то ставить нужно не убунту, а центось

ezust commented Jul 21, 2013 I want to set up Hydrogen to use pulseaudio. this is on debian wheezy/testing w/kde. Hydrogen 0.9.6 [June 12, 2013] Clean settings (i rm -rf'd the ~/.hydrogen folder just to make sure) On startup, I get 2 dialog box errors: "jack driver: cannot connect output". "Error starting audio driver" I'm not using jack. So that's ok. I want to use pulseaudio. I go to Tools - Preferences - Audio System - switch from "Auto" to "Alsa". From this point, it doesn't seem to matter what I put in the "device". It should but does not list the available devices. But if I type "pulse" or "pulseaudio" or even leave hw:0 the default there, it doesn't matter what I put there, when I restart the output or click ok, I get the same same two error dialogs again. When I go back into the Audio System Preferences page, the "Auto" setting is restored as if I didn't make any changes to my settings at all. ..
