You might have noticed today, you had a hard time recently our wonderful TX forums, and checking out the latest threads, and then it was totally off.

Well you can thank some very nasty folks out there that have been hammering various Xbox Scene sites, and even hacking moderators and admins of other sites on here to post their crap XBL/KV services, after we banned them all, and removed the hacked accounts and informed other sites what they were doing, they decided the only option was to launch a massive DDoS attack that started at 9am EST and is STILL sadly ongoing.

This has forced us to changed our nameservers, and block the old server IPs and limited access to only using CloudFlare gateway, if you try accessing outside of the normal browsing way, you will be blocked, sadly CloudFlare blocks Tor users automatically and some other IP hiding services, legit VPN systems should work with no problem, there is nothing we can do about that right now, it was the only way to get TX back up and running and now is costing us $200 per month for that, so be thankful you can even read this message!

If you see that when trying the first time to login to our TX forums, then all is good, if you don't you can try dumping your TX cookies, clearing your browser cache, and worse case typing 'ipconfig /flushdns' in your windows command prompt, to force your ISP/PC to update to the new IP ranges we are using.

Failing that, just wait it out, we have some good things in store this weekend along with some major changes to make it all smooth and nice again, without these fucktard idiots ruining your nice and friendly TX experience that you have enjoyed since we started Rock'ing the Scene in '02.

CloudFlare features a Threat Control dashboard where users can view an analysis of threats to their sites. Here, users can also specify which visitors CloudFlare allows and which visitors will be blocked. To access the Threat Control dashboard: 1. Log into your CloudFlare account at www.cloudflare.com/login. 2. Next to the website you wish to view, click Threat Control.

Alerts Any threats to your website which CloudFlare detects will be listed in the Alerts section of the Threat Control dashboard. If an item appears in this area, the visitor was challenged with a CAPTCHA before gaining access to your website. The following details will be provided for each threat: * Type of threat * Threat score * Date detected * IP address * Country of origin * Status of threat

Types of Threats The following is an overview of the types of threats detected by CloudFlare: * Botnet Zombie: Computers identified as infected with a virus that are doing something malicious such as sending spam * Rule Breaker: An automated crawler or bot that does not appear to follow robots.txt or other rules * Email Harvester: A visitor identified as stealing email addresses from websites * Web Spammer: A visitor caught posting spam comments or spam blogs * Exploit Hacker: A visitor caught attempting to exploit weaknesses in code

High Priority Alerts An exclamation symbol ( ! ) next to the threat type indicates an item which requires attention for one of two reasons: 1. The visitor was blocked; however, the visitor passed the CAPTCHA and left a message requesting to be permanently whitelisted. 2. The visitor is listed as a threat in CloudFlare's global system but was allowed to get through based on your security settings.

Threat Scores Threat scores are used to indicate the severity of a particular type of threat. The scores are determined by a logarithm and generally range from 0 to 100. The higher the score, the more severe the threat. CloudFlare allows users to specify a preference for how threat scores are handled in the security settings. The following options are available: * High - Anything greater than 0 will be challenged. * Medium - Anything greater than 8 will be challenged. * Low - Anything greater than 15 will be challenged. * Essentially Off - Anything greater than 25 will be challenged.

Blocking or Trusting Visitors In the Threat Control dashboard, CloudFlare users can choose to either block or trust visitors listed as threats in the Alerts list. Users also have the ability to manually enter an IP, IP range or country name to block or trust. If a threat is trusted or blocked, the visitor's IP address will be placed into either the Trust list or Block list respectively. Visitors with IPs listed in the Block list will not be challenged with a CAPTCHA. They will be completely restricted from accessing the website.

я поставил ubuntu-server 16.04, а потом снёс и заменил на debian

в консоли вбить alsamixer и посмотреть, включен ли звук (кнопка M - mute), по умолчанию Дебиан звук отключает.

я снёс пульсеаудио и все глюки исчезли:
просто пульс "слишком умный" и делал свою конфигурацию для КАЖДОГО приложения (тут ты права и насчёт удалить лишнее и насчёт довнгрейта)

apt-get purge pulse*
apt-get autoremove

свежии версии дистрибутивов хороши именно залатанными дырами безопасности, если нужна старые, но рабочие версии софта, то рекомендую посмотреть в сторону дистрибутивов с длительной поддержкой, самой длительной поддержкой обладает центос (10 лет)
в твоём случае версия 6.8, предположу что 32х битная

Где-то попадалось, что это альса меняет расположение файла конфигурацыии ну и, наверное не обошлось без удава с его "правилами":)))

в jessie ввели systemd это и обусловило всё прочее, звук по умолчанию выставлен в 0, пользователь не в группе audio, дурацкий пульсаудио с его правилами....
на фрю чтоли пересесть?? но там неизвестно какие подвохи будут
впрочем я кое-как причесал всё под себя, вроде норм. работает, радуют свежие 32х битные сборки хромиума (гугл уже больше их не собирает, только 64х битные)

В процессах ( top )они с буквы "k" начинаются, наверное означают kernel,
а уж что это, драйверы или что-то другое ..
И запускаются, скорее всего тем же удавом.
Этот udev перенастраивает конфигурацию, запускает скрипты,
правильно я понимаю?
А потом ты понять не можешь, с чего бы это диск, скажем не монтируется,
хотя все нужные программы установлены.

В DOS ядро было?
