How to Install Google Earth 7 Ubuntu 13.04 / 12.10 / 12.04, Linux Mint 14 / 13 and Debian Sid / Wheezy / Squeeze

Hello Linux Geeks.

In this article I will show you how to install Google Earth 7 on Ubuntu 13.04 Raring Ringtail, Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, Ubuntu 12.04 Precise Pangolin, Linux Mint 14 Nadia, Linux Mint 13 Maya, Debian Sid, Debian Wheezy and Debian Sid.

As you know, Google Earth allows you to view maps, satellite images, terrain or building.

This is how you install Google Earth on Ubuntu / Linux Mint / Debian:

For 32 bit systems:

Download the .deb file:

$ wget http://dl.google.com/dl/earth/client/current/google-earth-stable_current_i386.deb

For 64 bit systems:

$ wget http://dl.google.com/dl/earth/client/current/google-earth-stable_current_amd64.deb

Install the program:

$ sudo dpkg -i google-earth-stable_current_*.deb

Fix everything:

$ sudo apt-get install -f
